Overview of PEC's Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturing Activities
Power Egypt Corporation (PEC) represents over 33 years of experience as a leading manufacturer and distributor of state-of-the-art and UL-approved air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. 

PEC's entire product line is manufactured in one of the largest ISO-9001 Certified factory's in the Middle East and Africa, which is located in the Tenth of Ramadan City (an industrial city 30 miles outside of Cairo). To date, PEC has ensured the highest levels of quality and performance for its entire line of POWER brand-name air-conditioners and refrigeration equipment, by being the first Egyptian manufacturer to incorporate the advanced technology of CNC machinery, during the production process.

Moreover, by incorporating industry know-how from the technical assistance agreements with a leading Japanese manufacturer, PEC has been able to design and build a comprehensive line of dynamic units, which until today hold a reputation for superior performance and energy-efficiency, despite the surrounding electronic and climatic conditions under which POWER units operate.

Over the years, PEC has also gained the necessary experience required to produce a full range of residential, commercial and industrial air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The foundations for PEC's increase in sophisticated know-how was gained by utilizing technical assistance, compressors, and parts purchased from other well-known and respected manufacturers such as: Daikin of Japan, General-Electric (USA), BOHN of Danville, IL (USA), Copeland (USA), Tecumseh (USA), and DUNHAM-BUSH (USA) and many others. As result of the above-mentioned cooperative ventures, PEC was also able to gain the know-how to design and build equipment ranging in capacity from 1-ton to 25-tons of refrigeration.

Currently, PEC manufactures and distributes its equipment under the POWER brand-name, and holds around 40% of the air-conditioning market in Egypt. The long-standing sales strength of POWER has been achieved through the highly active distribution network of PEC's sister company- CAC. CAC's distribution network is comprised of independent dealers and subsidiaries located throughout Egypt, the Middle East, North Africa and several other African COMESA countries.

After-Sales Network
To support the enormous yearly sales volumes achieved by CAC in Egypt alone, PEC established an after-sales network of service centers- including 35 mobile service units. Each of PEC's after-sale service centers and mobile service units are equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment, repair machinery, and spare parts. Furthermore, all of PEC's service centers are staffed by highly trained A/C service engineers and administrative staff, who communicate and update sales and service information, through PEC's automated computer system. 
In terms of auditing procedures, PEC has established a Field Quality Assurance and Inspection Department to ensure that installations and after-sales service calls are performed promptly and up to standard. At this time, the Field Quality Assurance and Inspection Department audits around 10% of all installations and routine services performed year-round.

Customer satisfaction and feedback has always played an important role in PEC's success. Thus, since PEC's first days in business, the Client Feedback Department has issued customer satisfaction surveys, which have confirmed the importance of various initiatives taken to improve PEC's level of customer satisfaction. The result of PEC's customer satisfaction surveys include: improved claims processing, reduced errors, more timely responses to telephone calls / questions, and same day order fulfillment. 
PEC's policy of continuous improvement and intensive yearly advertising campaigns to promote sales and assure product awareness has enabled PEC to maintain a high percentage of customer loyalty for POWER's air-conditioners and refrigeration equipment.
